Our Centre for Advanced Education Kriebs (Fortbildungszentrum = FBZ) was founded at Brauneberg on the river Moselle by Andreas Kriebs in January 2008.

Being located near the city of Trier, between the towns Wittlich and Bernkastel-Kues, Brauneberg provides good travel connections, whether you travel by car, train or even by plane. The motorways A1 and A48 (exit Wittlich or Salmtal), as well as the nearest train station at Wittlich-Wengerohr are only 15 minutes away, even the Airport Frankfurt-Hahn will only take about 25 minutes to drive to – please see our traffic outline on the back of our catalogue.

The idea of the FBZ is to join people of different background by offering different seminars and events with a wide range of topics through our catalogue.

Our idea is based on 3 supporting pillars:

1. Medical-therapeutic seminars
   The medical-therapeutic seminars require certain conditions for entry. Medical doctors, alternative practitioners, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other interested people with a medically related background can take part in them.
   
   
2. All-round seminars
   The all-round seminars are addressed to people of all different occupational areas who are interested in non-medical seminars, also. There are, however, overlapping topics of these seminars and the above mentioned medical-therapeutic seminars which, by law, require certain conditions for entry. The majority of all courses offered can be attended by people who have no previous specialist knowledge or qualifications. In case of doubt you will be admitted to any of the seminars of this range of topics.
   
   
3. Lectures, information evenings, interesting events
   The Centre for Advanced Education also offers lectures, information evenings and other interesting events focusing on current issues in politics, economy, research, finance, history, language, culture, and much else. 

We are updating and extending our range of course offers continuously and on a regular basis to catch the eye of a preferably big audience.
